Dr Kenneth Lau BDSc (Qld)
Education and experience
Dr Ken Lau graduated from the University of Queensland in 2007. During his final year, Dr Ken Lau trained at Redcliffe Base and Bundaberg Base Hospital. After graduation, he felt that he needed to return to Redcliffe and Bundaberg to give some of his time back to the places where he received such great mentoring. As a result, Dr Ken Lau has had stints in both the school dental and country services in Bundaberg – Childers and Monto.
When Dr Ken Lau returned to North Brisbane, he became a Brisbane dentist. He worked in a private practice in Bracken Ridge before joining Castle Dental in Kedron. Dr Ken Lau is a member of local dental study groups and the Australian Dental Association (ADA). He continually attends seminars to help provide his patients with the most up to date techniques and treatment options. He also now spends some of his time teaching dental students at the University of Queensland.
Personal interests
Since dentists spend all day indoors, any time outside of dentistry, Ken spends his time outdoors. He values his time with his friends and family and with his wife Cindy and daughter Erin. Ken enjoys playing soccer hiking. This gives him a chance to enjoy nature and the environment. When Ken is not being your local Brisbane dentist, he can often be seen on playing seniors football at Newmarket SFC running around and having a laugh. |
